Anime Spotlight : Summer 2018 Anime Season Wrap Up

The Summer 2018 Anime season has ended, and Fall 2018 has hit the ground running, but before I get to the new anime in the Fall season, we have to wrap up Summer 2018. Usually I post the 5 shows I thought were the best and give my thoughts on the rest of the shows I've watched.

But I feel a bit of a change is in order to keep things fresh. So Instead of me sharing my 5 top shows. I'm changing things to the following format for now. And if you guys and girls like it I'll stick to it.
The new format is going to be only 3 anime, my Fave anime, the underdog anime, and the worst anime. I'll still share my thoughts on the remaining shows though. Without further ado.

My Fave :

Happy Sugar Life

Synopsis : High-schooler Matsuzaka Satou has a reputation for being easy, but one day her lifestyle of sleeping with one boy after another comes to an end. It happens when she meets the child Shio, for whom she is convinced she feels true love for the first time. Satou may seem sweet and innocent, but there is nothing she won't do to protect their life together, including committing murder. But from where did she acquire the little girl, and how long can their "Happy Sugar Life" together last?
PV : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHjcfNa4R1M
AniDB : https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=13944
Thoughts : I know a lot of people won't agree with me here, it was a tough choice for me between Happy Sugar Life, Harukana Receive and Angolmois, and even though I love sports and fanservice, and Angolmois was pretty epic at times. Happy Sugar Life is the kind of anime that sticks with you for a long time, some might say that the show feels broken at times, but for me it fits perfectly with the characters and theme.

The Underdog:

High Score Girl

Synopsis : 1991. The year of the Gulf War. The year Mount Unzen erupted. The year the Ten-Day War in Slovenia broke out. The year the world wavered.

Yaguchi Haruo, a 6th grader, is not only the least popular in his school, but also has the worst grades, a bad attitude towards others, and cannot be called attractive either. The only thing he lives for are video games, and this happens to be the only thing he is really good at. Until one day, he plays Street Fighter II against Oono Akira, a well-off female classmate, who proves to him that she is not only more popular, intelligent, attractive, and lucky than he is, but also... better than him at playing video games!

Haruo's small world wavers.
Thoughts : Another hard choice for me as both High Score Girl and Frakenstein's Family were pretty surprising, but Frakenstein's Family had quite a few problems,,though it's pretty good for a chinese anime. High Score Girl is great both for people wanting to learn a bit of gaming history and older gamers who will experience a lot of nostalgia. That aside though the show has pretty  interesting characters and a lot of  funny and adorable moments. Just a shame I have to wait till 2019 to see the conclusion..

The Worst :

Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria

Synopsis : Some urban legends are best left untested! Suou Yuuto gets more than he bargained for when he joins his childhood friend Shimoya Mitsuki in testing out an urban legend. When he uses his phone to take a picture of himself with the local shrine's divine mirror, he is whisked off into another world - one heavily steeped in the lore of the old Norse myths. Using his knowledge gained from school and from his solar-powered smartphone, he has the chance to bring the Wolf Clan, the same people who cared for him, to prominence, all while earning the adoration of a group of magic-wielding warrior maidens known as the Einherjar.
Thoughts : If ever people needed a sign to know that the isekai genre's popularity is coming to and end, and it needs to be put on the backburner for now. This utter mess would be it. Filled with plot holes, a terrible MC even by harem standards and a spectacularly failure of an ending makes this the worst anime I saw from Summer..

And now for the Rest.
Jashin-chan Dropkick : A low effort slapstick comedy with a few good jokes and skits but ultimately forgettable

Sirius the Jaeger : This was actually a pretty decent fantasy action anime that should keep you happy if you want to see some vampire busting action.

Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight : I absolutely loved the Utena vibes this anime gave me, luckily it didn't drag on too long and it came to a great end.

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san : If you want some enjoyable fanservice, this anime will have you smiling. Luckily this Harem MC was actually pretty good.
Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro : TONS of laughs from this comedy anime. Was actually a bit skeptical at first but I really enjoyed it. Also nice touch with the ending of the last episode, with the fake "next episode skit"

Yama no Susume S3 : As much as I loved the previous seasons of Yama no susume, I do feel the drama was put on a bit thick this season.

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi : What a nice surprise from the Shoujo genre, our protagonist wasn't a useless girl being protected for no reason by some pretty boys. Aoi is a pretty well written character and I do suggest you try this anime.

Sunohara-sou no Kanrinrin-san : God Damn Lucky Kid, is what you'll be thinking for most of this anime, the "neesan" appeal in this anime is strong!
Major 2nd : It took me a while to get into the second generation of Major, but I eventually got hooked on it, curious to see if there will be more.

Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu : Not a fantastic isekai genre anime, but a heck of a lot better than Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria

Hataraku Saibou : Adorable, educational, violent and funny. The perfect way to learn about the human body.

Hanebado! : As much as I love sports anime, especially well animated ones like Hanebado, I can't help but feel that Ayano, the protagonist, was bringing it down with her mommy issues. At least the wrap up at the end of the anime was well done.

Grand Blue : Goddamn those students can drink, how do their livers survive it? Have to say Grand Blue was a lot of fun and I did enjoy the Opening theme quite a bit.

Overlord III : We finally get to see how strong Ains can be...or a part of his power at least.

Steins Gate 0 : I'm glad they made a sequel to Stein's Gate, and I'm even happier it was a decent sequel

Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki : An anime I enjoyed a lot, mostly due to the characters and the setting, but weirdly it seems not many watched it

Planet With : Some say it's the Gurren Lagann of the 2010s, I say it's a pretty cool scifi anime once you get into it.

Harukana Receive : BEACH VOLLEYBALL, BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED BEACH VOLLEYBALL also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTCL5fE4RSI

Shichisei no Subaru : This anime started off essentially as Anohana Online...just don't expect any real resolution in the first season.

That about wraps it up for me, and yes as you've guessed. I didn't cover any anime that's still continuation or airing. OR anything I didn't watch. But what are your thoughts on the summer 2018 Anime season?

Anime Spotlight : Spring 2018! The Season Filled with Abrupt Endings

Spring 2018 had it's fair share of ups and downs as most seasons do. But strangely it was full of weirdly timed endings of animes. Some just seemingly randomly ended. And THEN you have Full Metal Panic which only ended nearly 3 weeks after the other anime....That being said I thoroughly enjoyed this past season and as always I'll share my top 5 anime from the past season and my thoughts on the rest.

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby

Synopsis : This is a tale of a world where "horse girls" with glorious names and incredible running abilities live alongside humanity.

Horse girl Special Week has moved from the country to the city to attend Tracen Academy. There, she and her classmates compete to win the Twinkle Series and earn the title of "The County's #1 Horse Girl."
Thoughts : This anime was an absolute blast! Once you get past the slightly weird premise, A huge cast of lovable characters and the races had just the right level of tension to them. The final episode was a bit of a cop out sadly, but all in all well worth the time.

Hinamatsuri (2018)

Synopsis : One night, a strange object falls on the head of Nitta, a member of the yakuza. Inside the box is a strange young girl named Hina. She has tremendous supernatural powers, and Nitta finds himself reluctantly taking her in. Her powers can come in handy for his yakuza business, but he also runs the risk of her using them on him! Not to mention, if she doesn't use her powers, she will eventually go berserk and destroy everything around her. Nitta and Hina's strange life together is just beginning...
Thoughts : Most laughs this season for sure! A show I'd easily recommend anyone and everyone to watch! NEED MORE!

Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii

Synopsis : A gaming otaku and a fujoshi reunite for the first time since middle school at work.
Thoughts : Otakoi just had the perfect mix of laughs and diabetes inducing sweet scenes in it. I loved the references to other anime and the whole setting of working adults and thier daily lives.

Megalo Box

Synopsis : A desolate land stretches out from the city of poverty. A motorcycle speeds recklessly, blowing clouds of sand and dust. The rider is the protagonist of this story – he has neither a name nor a past.

All he has is his ring name, Junk Dog and a technique for rigging MEGALOBOX matches with his pal Nanbu Gansaku, which they use to support their hand-to-mouth lives. Although he has the skill, he isn't dissatisfied enough to change his ways- but he's not satisfied with his life either. JD is bored, resigned, and unfulfilled. He lives with frustration in a life of shadows beneath the lights of fame.

Meanwhile, under the bright sun is Shirato Yukiko, the daughter of Shirato Konzern - the reigning family of the wealthy class. Yukiko decides to advance her career by using MEGALOBOX to organize a large fighting event, MEGALONIA: the tournament to determine the champion of MEGALOBOX. She creates a scenario: MEGALOBOXER Yuri, under her control, will win and become the champion to further promote the Shirato brand gear and expand business. Yuri has been the reigning champion of MEGALOBOX for the past few years. Driven by self-discipline and his strong will to practice, he has the skills and presence of a true champion. The man himself is a shining exemplar of virtuosity.

This is a story of JD and his rival, Yuri. An encounter between shadow and light; a fast-paced story begins when their paths cross.
Thoughts : Megalo Box was, for me, the perfect way to reboot a loved franchise. Take the classic boxing story of Ashita no Joe and bringing it into the future the right way!

Darling in the Franxx

Synopsis : They dream of one day flying into the endless sky, even though they are painfully aware of how far away the sky is beyond the glass that blocks their flight.

The distant future: Humanity established the mobile fort city, Plantation, upon the ruined wasteland and civilization flourished. Within the city were pilot quarters called Mistilteinn, otherwise known as the "Birdcage." That is where the children live... Not knowing anything of the outside world, and unaware of the vast sky. Their only mission in life was the fight.

Their enemies are the mysterious giant organisms known as Kyoryu. The children operate robots known as FRANXX in order to face these still unseen enemies because they believe that is their purpose in life. Among them was a boy who was once called a child prodigy: Code number 016, Hiro. However, now he's a failure and considered unneeded. Those who cannot pilot FRANXX basically do not exist.

One day, a mysterious girl called Zero Two appears in front of Hiro. From her face grew two alluring horns.

"I've found you, my Darling."
Thoughts : I'll be first to admit that Darling in the FRANXX was flawed, but I still loved it, maybe it was the elements and references to the classic Gainax anime. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for cute pink haired girls and mecha. One thing is for sure though, the Opening song is a killer!

Now you are probably wondering "what about the rest?" No fear, as we are about to look at them too..

Golden Kamuy : I Loved this anime, it's only real flaw, is that it ended midway with the second part only showing much later this year. Split Cour anime must end...

Hisone to Masotan : At first I was surprised by what was going on in this anime, but I really enjoyed it all the way to the end, and if you don't mind the art style, I highly suggest you try it.

3D Kanojo Real Girl : It's a real shame the studio that did this anime didn't have a bigger budget. As the show itself was enjoyable to watch, I just feel it would have done so much better with proper animation..

Comic Girls : Kaos-Sensei and the girls made me smile, Which is exactly what cute girls things type slice of life anime are meant for :D

Tachibanakan To Lie Angle : Short, lewd, funny but lacking in substance..

Alice or Alice : My thoughts on Tachibanakan to Lie Angle can be replicated here...

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai : Tada-kun wa Koi wa Shinai had all the ingredients for a great anime, but someone it just didn't bring it all together in the end.

Fumikiri Jikan : A collection of shorts that kind of come together in the end, A pleasant time waster

Beatless : I feel that Beatless took itself way to seriously, and it also had the most recap episodes I've ever seen in a 24 episode show...and the end was lackluster to say the least.

High School DxD Hero : The "new" art style pissed off a few people, but I personally didn't mind it at all. A must see for fans of the previous seasons.

Cardcaptor Sakura  Clear Card-hen : Seeing Sakura and the rest return was a pleasant experience for me. I'm just curious why it had to end so abruptly

Nanatsu no Taizai Imashime no Fukkatsu : Yes I know shounen anime can be stupid, but god damn do I love this franchise thus far. Lots of action and Escanor is OP.

Sword Art Online Alternative - Gun Gale Online : Personally I enjoyed this spinoff a lot more than the original franchise it's based on...guess no Kirito helps..that and a decent writer..like the one from Kino's Journey for example.

Grancrest Senki : There were moments where I wanted to drop this anime, but for some reason I kept on pushing on, and honestly it's not bad. It's not great either. It's a fairly good fantasy warfare anime I guess..

Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori : For the worried, I can confirm there is absolutely 0 BL in this anime, just good times.

Yowamushi Pedal - Glory Line : The only flaw in this season of Pedals was simple. Onoda didn't sing while cycling :(

Amanchu! Advance : Love, love, love, LOVED this anime. Amanchu Advance fills the gap left by Aria for me. If you are into diving, or just want to feel better. This is for you.

Shokugeki no Soma - San no Sara - Toutsuki Ressha-hen : My only issue with the latest season of Shokugeki no Soma is simple...WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE SO SHORT :<

Toji no Miko : An underrated gem of an anime that more people should watch. I'm so glad I stuck around till the end of it.

Full Metal Panic Invisible Victory : HOW FUCKING LONG DID WE WAIT FOR THIS? And so many things happened that broke my heart...but that last episode was worth it...

How was the Spring 2018 anime season for you? Please share your thoughts with me.

Anime Spotlight : Spring 2018! The Season of Sequels

Spring 2018 is upon us, and with it comes a plethora of sequels, spin offs and remakes! Heck even Full Metal Panic has a sequel! But as usual I'll focus on the NEW anime that started so. If you wanted to ask where is season X of some show or the spin off or remake to whatever. That's why they aren't listed ;) As usual I'll share which 5 shows I think are the most promising based on their first few episodes, and then share my thoughts on the rest of the new anime.

Golden Kamuy

Synopsis : In the early twentieth century, Russo-Japanese War veteran Sugimoto "Immortal" Saichi scratches out a meager existence during the postwar gold rush in the wilderness of Hokkaido. When he stumbles across a map to a fortune in hidden Ainu gold, he sets off on a treacherous quest to find it. But Sugimoto is not the only interested party, and everyone who knows about the gold will kill to possess it! Faced with the harsh conditions of the northern wilderness, ruthless criminals and rogue Japanese soldiers, Sugimoto will need all his skills and luck - and the help of an Ainu girl named Asirpa - to survive.
Thoughts : Golden Kamuy is set in an era which hasn't been covered a lot in anime in general, which is pretty cool. Characters introduced in the anime thus far are pretty interesting and I do enjoy the premise of it all. Have to say the anime features some brutal scenes and I'll honestly be surprised if it isn't hugely popular this season.

Thoughts : First off, Hinamatsuri is HILARIOUS to say the least, I'm pretty sure it's going to get a lot more serious nearing the end but for now the first two episodes have been filled with laughter. Another anime with quite the interesting premise with a lot of questions I'm hoping that will be answered...

Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii

Synopsis : A gaming otaku and a fujoshi reunite for the first time since middle school at work.
Thoughts : I'll admit, I do like seeing young working adults in anime, especially as the main characters. Wotakoi has a TON of coincidences in the first episode, but so far it's been quite an enjoyable experience that has left me wanting more!

Thoughts : As a HUGE Hajime no Ippo fan, seeing a new boxing anime has my hyped. And that it's based on the classic Ashita no Joe is even better!

Thoughts : I know what you are thinking.. AN ANIME ABOUT HORSE GIRLS THAT ARE HIGHSCHOOL IDOLS!!!??? But hear me out, as crazy as Keijo!!! was it was actually a lot of fun, Uma Musume is the same case so far. One a more realistic side, the horse girls are all named after historic japanese race horses...so there is that.

That's my personal 5 most promising shows this season, now on to the other shows I'm following for now!

Hisone to Masotan : I'll admit the first episode threw me off quite a bit, the art style is a bit different than usual...and the idea of piloting dragons by being swallowed by them. But when I saw a dragon turn into a jet fighter I knew I had to see more..

Caligula : Yes it's based on a game, and so far makes no fucking sense. So far it's only morbid curiousity that's keeping my interests vested in this.

3D Kanojo Real Girl : Yes the title is as stupid as they get, but this seems to be quite an enjoyable romance anime between a "otaku" and a "slut"

Dorei-ku the animation : The premise of this anime feels like a hentai, just without the lewd bits. Honestly don't know in which direction this anime is going, only time will tell.

Comic Girls : Cute girls drawing manga! With shoujo ai undertones. Yip pretty much the moe show of the season.

Isekai Izakaya : The Isekai genre has been very hit and miss so far, but it does seem that Isekai Izakaya might be better than Isekai Shoukudo. Also who doesn't like seeing tasty food?

Mahou Shoujo Site : Without any doubt, this is the dark anime of the season. I do hope there are glimpses of things going better though...

Mahou Shoujo Ore : And just to throw a curve-ball into the whole thing. Mahou shoujo ore is as ridiculous as you get! Male magical girls!!

Tachibanakan To Lie Angle : If lewd yuri is more your thing, this short anime has you covered...

Alice or Alice : The other short anime this season mixes more cute and lewd in 3 minute batches...

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai : Looks to be the stereotypical foreign exchange student comes to japan and forces guy with no interest in girls to fall in love anime...also she is possibly a princess...

Fumikiri Jikan : Also known as Crossing time, is literally about the conversations or interactions between students waiting at a railroad crossing. Only time will tell if it gets stale quickly or not.

Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori : If you are looking for a relaxing anime, with good looking guys, good looking food this delivers in spades.

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi : This romance anime uses a lot of cliches, but so far it's working! Especially seeing as they are leaving a bit of a mystery as to what the heck her grandfather really did...

And that covers all the new shows I'm following for now. Well excluding remakes, sequels and spin offs that is ;) What is your thoughts in the Spring 2018 Anime season so far?

Anime Spotlight : Winter 2018 A fantastic start to the year

The Winter 2018 Anime season is over and what a fantastic season it was. for the most part. It wasn't all smooth sailing though, some of the sequels turned out to be dogshit to say the least like Basilisk...and some series the studio just gave up completely like Marchen Madchen. But that's in the past and now it's time to see which of the completed anime series was the BEST, I will, as always, share my thoughts on the rest of the shows I followed.

Violet Evergarden

Synopsis : There are words Violet heard on the battlefield, which she cannot forget. These words were given to her by someone she holds dear, more than anyone else. She does not yet know their meaning.

A certain point in time, in the continent of Telesis. The great war which divided the continent into North and South has ended after four years, and the people are welcoming a new generation.

Violet Evergarden, a young girl formerly known as "the weapon", has left the battlefield to start a new life at CH Postal Service. There, she is deeply moved by the work of "Auto Memories Dolls", who carry people's thoughts and convert them into words.

Violet begins her journey as an Auto Memories Doll, and comes face to face with various people's emotions and differing shapes of love. All the while searching for the meaning of those words.
Thoughts : KyoAni once again proves they are the best when it comes to animation. Yes UFOTABLE is flashier but just look at the A-list of great anime from KyoAni. Violet Evergarden was a visual and emotional tour de force that has carved itself into my heart. Especially the later episodes were quite emotional. Make sure to keep some tissues on hand.

Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho

Synopsis : Our first step was always curiosity. For unseen sights, unheard sounds, unsmelled scents, untouched textures, untasted tastes, and unfelt excitement. We travel to find the bits and pieces that we’d forgotten at some point. Howling at 40 degrees, going mad at 50 degrees, screaming at 60 degrees, to the primordial lands beyond the great oceans, at the edge of the earth, far removed from human civilization. This is the story of four girls who travel to the Antarctic, further even than outer space.
Thoughts : Place further than the Universe was an amazing coming of age anime filled with oodles of character development, some really funny scenes and a really emotional one as well. Highly recommended anime!

Sangatsu no Lion 2

Synopsis : This is a gentle tale about people trying to regain something. And it is a tale of battle.

Kiriyama Rei had lost his family in an accident when he was young. Now he is a 17-year-old pro shogi player who is burdened with deep loneliness. Rei lives alone in an old town in Tokyo, but after becoming acquainted with three sisters, Akari, Hinata and Momo, he begins to change little by little...
Thoughts : It's no secret that Sangatsu no Lion's first season was one of my favorite anime from 2017. The second didn't disappoint one bit. Though I'm sure the issues surrounding Hina was rough for everyone watching it. A fantastic anime everyone must see at least once in their life.

Mahou Tsukai no Yome

Synopsis : With her mother dead and father long gone, Hatori Chise has spent her childhood being passed unwanted from relative to relative, until she finally makes her unfortunate way to a strange and improbable auction block. Offered as a sleigh beggy to the highest bidder, Chise is purchased by the (literally) boneheaded Elias Ainsworth, who promises to take her on as his apprentice. Elias is a mage, and his world is one of dragons and faeries - but before Chise can begin to get accustomed to all that nonsense, Elias drops another bombshell. Apparently Chise isn't just intended to be his apprentice - she will also be his bride.
Thoughts : Before you start your journey into a magical world that puts Harry Potter to shame. I highly recommend watching the OVAs first as it would provide much needed background information. Be prepared though Ancient Magus Bride is going to crawl deep into your heart and play with your emotions, happy and  sad.

Yuru Camp

Synopsis : Rin likes to go camping by herself along the lakes that provide a scenic view of Mt. Fuji. Nadeshiko loves to take cycling trips by herself to places where she can see Mt. Fuji. After they meet, Rin and Nadeshiko take camping trips, eat cup ramen together, and enjoy the scenery.
Thoughts : Yuru Camp has everything in it that makes the Slice of Life genre such a joy to watch. Absolutely fun characters, relaxed pacing, fantastic scenery and music. And of course, scenes that just make you smile. The perfect anime to forget about the hard day at work/school you had.

Those were my top 5 anime from the Winter 2018 anime Season, But that wasn't the only anime I watched. Which anime were your top 5 from the last season?

Here are my thoughts on the rest.

Overlord 2 : With the Third season of Overlord gracing our screens soon, the second season, which mostly consisted of fleshing out the side characters a bit more. Doesn't feel like such a waste. and the end of Season 2 was really good.

Dagashi Kashi 2 : The second season of Dagashi Kashi shown, without any doubt, that the show is nothing without Hotaru. A shame the animation wasn't on par with the first season though.

B The Beginning : B the beginning came out on a weird time in the season, but that's more a netflix thing. Quite an interesting anime for the most part, good action and characters. Loved LILY. The end was kinda alright. Unsure if I would like to see a second season though.

A.I.C.O. - Incarnation : A.I.C.O. like B The Beginning also came out at a weird timeframe season wise, It was another anime released by Netflix though. And it has a really interesting premise to say the least. But it does feel kind of confused at parts.

Citrus : I'm a huge fan of Yuri anime, and I honestly hoped Citrus would have turned out better than it did. It's not bad but the constant drama being fabricated gets a bit much. It does have some hot yuri though.

Takunomi : It had a few cute scenes but I honestly wouldn't recommend people watch it. Other than some interesting facts about japanese it's not really worth your time.

Killing Bites : Killing Bites turned out to be a lot of fun to watch, had great action, a few VERY lewd scenes and quite an unexpected twist at the end.

ReLIFE OVA : I'm extremely happy that they actually animated the end to ReLIFE, though it is a huge shame they had to cut so much out from the manga. Still a good end to the series.

Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san : Who would have thought that an anime about cute girls slurping noodles and eating ramen would end up being so entertaining..

Mitsuboshi Colors : This anime was a lot more fun that I thought it would be, give it a shot.

Slow Start : Slow Start is more than just a cute girls doing cute things show, it actually had a fair bit of lessons presented as problems each of the characters faced. But yes it has lots of cute!

Ryuuou no Oshigoto! : I'll admit March comes in like a lion gave me high hopes for this Shogi anime. A fairly fun anime was ruined for me by the utterly terrible MC.

Kokkoku : Wow, what a ride this anime was. Criminally underrated. For some reason this gem slipped completely under the radar of the majority of anime fans this season.

Garo - Vanishing Line : The third Garo anime was thankfully a HUGE improvement over the second. Garo - Vanishing Line has everything that makes the Garo franchise great. If you want supernatural action, look no further.

Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens : This turned out to be a lot of fun, for an anime about a city full of hitmen, Though I'll be fair the reason I kept watching this anime was the amazing cast of characters and their stories. Would love to see more.

Koi Wa Ameagari no You ni : A bittersweet story of a girl falling in a love with someone much older than her, but also a tale of how people handle setbacks and recover from wounds, both physically and emotionally.

Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san : This anime was adorable, what initially just looks like a girl teasing a boy slowly grows into something more. Smiles are guaranteed with this one.

Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyouku : The title is a mouthful but unfortunately this addition to the very popular "isekai" genre is lacking of much substance. Sure it has some cute scenes but there isn't much more to it.

That covers about all the anime I finished watching from the winter 2018 Anime season. What are your thoughts on the past season? I'll cover what looks promising in the Spring season as soon as I've seen everything it has to offer.
